Morgan Freeman Converted His 124 Acre Ranch Into A Bee Sanctuary To Help Save The Bees

BeesMorgan Freeman Converted His 124 Acre Ranch Into A Bee Sanctuary To Help Save The Bees:
He is not just talking the talk either, he is also walking the walk.
Have you ever wonder what dinner would look like if bees – one of nature’s most miraculous and necessary insects – became extinct due to mankind’s unsustainable habits? Bees are responsible for pollinating a number of plants which often make their way to the dinner table. So if they were to go extinct (due to a number of suspected reasons), it’s quite accurate to say Earth’s menu would change dramatically as well.
Morgan Freeman has been making headlines for a number of great reasons that have nothing to do with his acting career. Recently, Freeman made very strong remarks in support of marijuana legalization, admitting that he uses the herb himself. He also blasted the mainstream media’s propaganda campaign during the recent protests against police brutality in Baltimore.
Last year, during an interview on the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, he discussed his plan to house 26 hives of bees on his 124-acre ranch in Mississippi.
There’s a concerted effort to bring bees back onto the planet. We do not realize that they are the foundation, I think, of the growth of the planet, the vegetation. I have so many flowering things, and I have a gardener too. Because she takes care of the bees too, all she does is figure out, ‘OK, what would they like to have?’, so we’ve got acres and acres of clover, we’re planting stuff like lavender, I’ve got like, maybe 140 magnolia trees, big blossoms,” Freeman said in the interview with MMN.
I’ve not ever used (the beekeeping hat) with my bees. They haven’t (stung me) yet because right now I’m not trying to harvest honey or anything; I’m just feeding them… I think they understand, ‘Hey, don’t bother this guy, he’s got sugar water here.’” he added.
