Kenya yasisitiza kuzifunga kambi za wakimbizi


Rais wa Kenya Uhuru Kenyatta amesema kuwa hatobadili uamuzi wake wa kuifunga kambu kuu ya Dadaab,makao ya zaidi ya raia 300,000 wa Somalia.
Taarifa kutoka afisini mwake inasema kuwa amemuambia naibu katibu mkuu wa Umoja wa Mataifa Jan Eliasson kwamba hatua hiyo haitabadilishwa.
''Treni imeondoka kituoni .Kwa hivyo ni wale wanaotaka kuona ufanisi wa safari hiyo wangie ndani'',aliongezea.
Makundi ya msaada na shirika la wakimbizi katika Umoja wa Mataifa UNHCR limeelezea wasiwasi wake kuhusu kufungwa huko.
Bw Kenyatta amesema kuwa kufungwa kwa kambi hizo kutashughulikiwa kwa njia inayofaa.Matamshi yake yanajiri siku moja tu baada ya rais wa Somalia Kuonya kuusu kufungwa kwa kambi hiyo.
